Piling works on Cambridge (Matangi) solar farm well underway

We’re halfway through piling works at the Cambridge (Matangi) solar farm – a major milestone on site.

With more than 6,800 piles to install, the team is making strong progress, currently hitting a rate of about 150-200 per day per machine. With two machines operating on site momentum is building every day.

Piling is one of those stages where precision really matters. Every pile needs to be straight and positioned accurately so the framing can go up smoothly in the next phase.

A big shout-out to our build partner New Energy and the whole team on site getting this mahi done rain or shine. Great work laying the foundations for what’s to come.
