We’ve reached a major milestone at our Cambridge (Matangi) Solar Farm: all 49,055 solar modules are now installed.
Alongside the modules, all 78 string inverters and four Smart Transformer Stations are now in place, meaning the solar farm is rapidly taking shape.
This achievement reflects the incredible effort of our team and build partners. At the height of construction, up to 100 people were working on site each day, helping turn the project from plans into reality.
He mihi nui to everyone involved, especially our build partner @NewEnergy and the many contractors and suppliers who have contributed along the way.
While this is an important milestone, there is still work to be done. Next up is the installation of the containerised switching station, the controls and communications building, the metering unit, and the 33kV connection to the grid.
Exciting progress, with the finish line now firmly in sight.
